Chapter Director/Treasurer ~ Nick *Shark*

I have been riding my Trike since 2008. I love it and would not go back to a two wheeler. I have a Suzuki C-50 Lehman Kit. I enjoy the group of Brother and Sisters with the West~End Chapter and am very proud to have their faith to lead them. My Favorite ride so far has been our yearly Seligman Trike-In on Route 66.   I have been a member for about 12 years and a Lifetime Member for
approx. 10 of those years. My wife, Charmaine is also
a member and rides her own Trike.
We have met a lot of really great people over the years riding Trikes.
We always look forward to the BTW Trike meets to
see old freinds and meet new ones.
We have attended BTW MEETS in Rapid City S.D. and Missiouri as well as
most of the ones in Arizona. We plan to continue
attending all the BTW Runs we can.  DOB 12/7

I have been a member of BTW since 2002 when introduced to trike riding by Tom & Charmaine and have been hooked ever since! I have met such wonderful people thru the BTW and have wonderful memories of each of the events that have been hosted by the different chapters thoughout the state. But my favorite run is the Seligman run which we have all learned that the best laid schedules can be changed by Mother Nature! BTW is a family of Trikers and I am blessed to be part of this family.

GROUCHY OLD BASTARD.
I have been riding for 47 years and love it just as much today as when I started. I have been with the BTW since 2002 when I joined the Northern Lights in Mn. When I moved here in 2005 I met the West End Chapter and since then, I have found a great bunch of friends in all the  BTW chapters. Beside family, the only people I have found you can trust are your Military brothers and Biker/Triker brothers.

I have been a lifetime BTW member for around 10 years now and have met so
many amazing people along the way.
After riding with Tom on his trike for a few years, he decided I needed my
own (wasn't my idea at all).
So in March of 2004, after 9 months of production the final product rolled
off the assembly line (Ron Neumueller's garage).
I must say it intimated me at first, but I soon grew to love it as much as I
do BTW. I do believe that I will have TIGER, until I can no longer ride, (or
it fall completely apart) as I have no intentions of getting rid of him.
Without a doubt the Seligman run is by far my favorite BTW FUNction. The old
days of Berrypatch in SD,(Old national meet locale) comes in a close second.

I got into riding because I wanted to ride a motorcycle, but with my fear of the motorcycle I chose to ride a trike instead.  Also, my grandsons other grandma and grandpa were riding and when I went with them to some events, I knew this was for me.  I was introduced to the triking community in May of  '03.

I grew up in Chicago and lived there for many years before I came to Phoenix and met Bear. When I was 5 years old I told my mom I wanted to be a teacher and that when I grew up I would take care of her. I did keep my promises. My family was happy but we were not rich. I was educated in an inner city high school. I worked hard and became the top student at the school. The principal took an interest in me and was my mentor. I was able to get two scholarships. I  received a Bachelor and a Masters degree. I have a passion for nature. I did show dogs in the late eighties for a while and my Boston Terrier named Cosmos Froots of Toots became ranked number one in the United States for a few years.  Later in life I wanted to do something very different and went to motor cycle school. A friend from school introduced me to Bear and we were married. DOB 3/20

How I got into riding:  When I was learning to drive at 16 my dad made me learn how to drive an automatic,
a four on the floor, a shift on the column, and a small motorcycle.  I got the bug. In 2002 I traded my ex husband
for a Harley.  I still have her. It got to a point where I needed more wheels so I decided to go with 3 wheels. Now you wouldn't get me on two wheels for love or money. DOB 7/30

I joined BTW two years ago and find the members to be great, fun people to hang out with. I don't own a trike, I grew up riding dirt bikes. Thanks to those that give me a ride on theirs! I enjoy the desert riding, it's so beautiful.
